Little Lies- New Release and Review

"H. Hunting delivers what must be the most beautifully written, and certainly emotional New Adult books of the year.” - LJ Shen, USA Today bestselling author

From New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting writing as H. Hunting, comes a beautifully written and emotional new adult romance, Little Lies, available now!

I don’t want you. You mean nothing to me.

I never loved you.

I turned my words into swords.

And I cut her down.

Shoved the blade in and watched her fall.

I said I’d never hurt her, and I did.

Years later, I’m faced with all the little lies, the untruths, the false realities, the damage I inflicted, when all I wanted was to indulge my obsession.

Lavender Waters is the princess in the tower. Even her name is the thing fairy tales are made of.

I used to be the one who saved her. Over and over again.

But I don’t want to save her anymore.

I just want to pretend the lies are still the truth.

REVIEW:

"Lavender is everyone's Achilles' heel. And I just sliced mine to the bone."

Oh my heart- this book absolutely wrecked me in the best possible way. From the very first page, I was emotionally connected to these character and I could not put this book down! This book takes us on the journey of Lavender and Kodi (who are connected to previous Helena Hunting series). I think that Lavender may be one of my all time fave heroines as my heart broke for her time and time again but all the turmoil that she went through just made her stronger. And ohhh Kodi- how his lies added up time and time again as he struggled to break his connection to Lavender. He had such good intentions but his intent did not match his impact and you could see how much he was damaged from his lies as well. I loved their childhood relationship and how they just seemed to get each other when no one else could.

"If you really want me, I guess you're going to have to find a way to deserve me."

I cannot say how much I loved that Lavender stood up for herself and told Kodi how impactful his lies had been on her life. I wanted to stand up and cheer for her and my heart was bursting with pride while they were reestablishing their relationship. At the end of the day, all the obstacles just made the two of them even stronger as they had to work at making sure they couldn't balance their love for each other without giving up their individual identities. These two touched my heart and I loved every moment of their journey! Give it all the stars!!
