Ok so I'm sitting here trying to process what I just read with this duet that absolutely wrecked me. I though I had a read on what was happening from the first book, but I had no idea. This book absolutely blew me away with layered revelations being shared in each chapter. We pick off in this book right from that epic cliffhanger from the last one as we start to peel back the layers of the all of the action that was packed into the end of Flock. And then, we immediately take off on a new journey of love, mystery and intrigue with some of the same players and some new ones.

Y'all the romance in this book was absolutely epic. The hate vibes, the chemistry, the steam...I was here for ALL OF IT. I couldn't get enough of our lead characters and ohhhhh the interactions with all of the other chess pieces! And then mid-way through, I end up absolutely crushed with the turn of events. This is an emotional thrill ride that absolutely captivated me from start to finish! One of my fave reads of the year! Go in blind and bring your tissues to go on this magical journey of love and suspense.
