"I love you...thorns and all"
So I'm not really sure why it took me so long to start this series (as it has been recommended more times that I can count) but I am thrilled that I finally picked it up. ACOTAR hooked me from the first page as we follow Feyre on her journey from her humble human beginnings to trials with the Fae world. Feyre was such an awesome heroine with her fierceness and unwillingness to back down. And her chemistry with Tomlin was evident from their first interactions. The story picked up for me even more as the romance developed because I so enjoyed their banter and interactions (and enemies to lovers also happens to be my fave) as they fell so deeply in love. Also really enjoyed the frenemies relationship between Feyre and Lucien. Overall this book just really struck the right balance between adventure, fantasy and romance...and now I am off to binge read the rest of the series!
